DRG

Digital Raster Graphics (DRGs) are scanned images of U.S. Geological Survey topographic maps. The image inside the map is georeferenced to the surface of the earth, which makes it possible to use DRG as a map layer in many GIS software. The DRG image above is the city of Austin, Texas.
